Meet   the   Founder

Kelly, Owner
Raised in Dallas TX, has lived in SF for 30 years. Has an art degree. Spent most of her career working as an art director in advertising. Also loves animals and being an auntie. Currently an entrepreneur and animal welfare activist. She happily says, "I found my calling."



Eco-friendly   Decorating


Leftovers is a green business model, based on upcycling & repurposing furniture. We are as surprised as the next person when it comes to rescuing some of the furniture slated for landfill. We are a local, community-based business (we don't have trucks huffing and puffing around like larger stores which need everything delivered from far away).


We reuse wrapping materials, boxes and bags We use ECO COPY for our minimal printing needsWe are as paperless as possible We light our stores with lots of CFL's We keep our store shiny and clean using products with refillable bottles All staff use green canteens instead of disposable water bottles Leftovers does not own a car- we use zipcar! All employees walk or take public transit to work


Classics always come around again, and beautiful design never goes out of style. This is one of the keys to our success. Finding that one treasure that makes your heart beat a little faster is what keeps decorators coming back to Leftovers. But furniture's not the only thing that's "reloved" here: all our store pets are pre-owned! We adopt rescue animals in need from SF Animal Care and Control (currently we have two little dogs, one three-legged cat, and four doves).

Leftovers is proud to have hosted numerous community events, from film screenings to fundraisers. Our store offers a comfy yet chic environment for groups large and small. Compared to other venues, a soiree at our shop feels more like lounging in the home of your interior decorator friend - rather than attending a corporate get together. We offer a plug-n-play sound system, and long stainless steel tables for plating h'ors doeurves.
Event rentals are $250/hr, with a $500 minimum.
