leftovers regularly donates to the following local charities:
  • rooms for change – providing free furniture to assist young people in their transition from foster youth to inter-independent young adults.
  • uhuru furniture & collectibles - a project of the African People's Education & Defense Fund.
  • out of the closet - benefitting the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) HIV/AIDS care and medical treatment programs.
  • goodwill
  • larkin street youth services - helping San Francisco's most vulnerable youth ages 12-24 move beyond street life.


we handed out towels and encouragement for hours as 3,000 walkers passed by our store for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk, October 2010.

we proudly hosted A Leg Up Rescue's "Bring Your Bling" fundraiser, which raised $2,000 for rescue efforts and successully found homes for two dogs.

leftovers supports San Francisco Animal Care and Control by adopting and fostering office pets in need of care and loving homes.

in january 2010 we raised over $600 for haitian relief, matched by employees and store.

we thank our generous customers in helping us donate over 200lbs of food to
Project Open Hand in our 2009 thanksgiving food drive.
